Volunteer Training

Thank you for your interest in volunteering!

To become a Volunteer:

1. Please complete this brief online Volunteer Application.

2. Once we process your application, you will receive an email with information about our online volunteer training. This training takes approximately 1 hour and can be completed at your convenience! The online training is required for all incoming volunteers.

3. The system will notify us when you have completed the online training. You will then receive an invitation to our onsite training and more information about that training.

What to expect at Onsite Training:

• It is held at ManeGait — 3160 N. Custer Rd, McKinney 75002.

• Wear comfortable walking shoes (no open toes) and weather appropriate clothing.

• You will practice lesson activities, safety protocols, and proper procedures when working with ManeGait’s horses and riders.

• At the end of onsite training, you will have an opportunity to sign-up for a weekly volunteer slot in the next 6-week session.

• If there is not a slot that fits your schedule, you can wait to sign-up in a later session.
