Summer 2017 – Champions for Hope Camp

Champions for Hope Camp
for Pediatric Cancer Patients and Survivors

A five day camp dedicated to helping pediatric cancer patients and survivors improve their physical and emotional quality of life by providing an educational and therapeutic horsemanship program, free of charge.

The camp takes place in a safe and fun environment with and on trained therapeutic riding horses.  The goal of the camp is to help those living with cancer focus on strengthening their minds and bodies rather than the disease while learning about horses in an atmosphere of professionalism, teamwork and fun.

The camp activities will be led by licensed and certified Speech/Language Pathologists, Play Therapists and PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors, and ManeGait lesson volunteers.
